Published August 24, 2009 Cast/Characters , Episodes 1 CommentTags: charlie, diner, hiro, jayma mays, masi oka, sylar, waitress
Early on in the Heroes saga, our buddy Hiro (Masi Oka) met the love of his life, a diner waitress named Charlie (Jayma Mays). Sadly for them, Charlie was killed by Sylar before their relationship could develop.
According to BuddyTV, Charlie will be back for one final episode. It’s obvious that it’ll be Hiro’s time-traveling ability that will bring her back to the screen, but what will develop? Will he simply get a final glimpse? Will they kiss?
We’ll find out some time this season.

“If you die this season, you’re dead”

An interesting quote from Heroes creator Tim Kring, by way of SF Universe. Very simply: “If you die this season, you’re dead.”
The person that revealed the quote was Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli), so one has to wonder if he was referring to his own character. I tend to doubt it, but you never know…

Dana Davis (aka “Monica”) leaving Heroes
Published August 23, 2008 Cast/Characters 2 CommentsTags: alejandro, dana davis, monica, season 3
Many people complained about the glut of new characters is last year’s strike-shortened Heroes season 2. Now the producers are apparently cleaning it up.
Alejandro bit the dust late last season, and now we’ve learned that Monica will be gone “fairly quickly”.
I’m torn about this. I kind of enjoyed her character, but I agree that they were streching things pretty wide. Hopefully losing her will allow them to focus back in on the core set of characters. We’ll find out soon!

We’re just over a month away from the season 3 premiere, and NBC has just released the official description for the hour long show.
“VOLUME 3: VILLAINS” MAKES A TWO-HOUR SPECIAL DEBUT WITH REVELATIONS THAT WILL REDEFINE FAMILIAR CHARACTERS AND SHAKE THE SERIES TO ITS CORE — The first chapter of “Volume 3: Villains” kicks off moments after shots rang out, as the shocking identity of Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) assassin and the reasons why the Texas press conference had to be cut short are revealed — immediately throwing Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) into unexpected, uncharted territory. With his powers partially restored, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) decides a visit to Claire (Hayden Panettiere) could give him a boost. Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) are charged with safeguarding a family secret that could split the planet apart, and discover that the path to a grim future starts with shady speedster, Daphne (guest star Brea Grant). In New York City, thanks to Maya (Dania Ramirez), Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) makes a startling breakthrough that could change the world — or just destroy his. And who is Tracy Strauss? Ali Larter, Cristine Rose and Jack Coleman star. Noah Gray-Cabey, Ashley Crow, Randall Bentley, Jimmy Jean-Louis, George Takei, Malcolm McDowell, Carlon Jeffery, Jamie Hector, Bruce Boxleitner, Francis Capra and Blake Shields guest star.
